VINTAGE EASTERN AIRLINES FIFTY YEARS OF SERVICE 1928-1978 SOUVENIR MEDALLION. Perfect for a former Eastern employee or aviation enthusiast. In good condition.
Measures 3" by 2⅜"and weighs 6.25 ounces without packing material.
The front shows the initial service airports along the East Coast, and the side of the plane(hard to read) has 'Eastern Air Transport' and US Mail No. 12.
The back is inscribed with the following:

This 50th Anniversary medallion contains metal from most of the aircraft Eastern has flown since the Pitcairn Mailwing and from the Apollo 8 spacecraft as well.
