ORIGINAL 1948 Vintage American Airlines Niagara Falls Travel Poster 40” x 30”

Description

An original circa 1948-50 travel poster for American Airlines flights to Niagara Falls and Canada which features a dramatic view of the Falls from the Canadian vantage point done by the commercial artist E. McKnight Kauffer (1890-1954). The poster measures approximately 30" by 40" and is unconditionally guaranteed genuine circa 1948-50. Condition - some stain spots at upper left above falls and some discoloration in the white border at top along with some scattered tiny foxing spots in upper area and some roughness at side edges on bottom lower right side. There is a small tear at bottom at the A of Canada. Poster is a recent find and is completely fresh to the market and would be greatly improved with cleaning and linen backing.
