    Description

8" by 12" color print of American Airlines Convair 240, N94227 "Flagship Imperial Valley" at EWR in August 1961.  This aircraft left the American fleet in 1962 and went on to fly for Central, TTA, Texas International, Frontier, and Wright Airlines.  It was converted to a CV-600 and re-registered N74854.  The last known operator was SMB Stage Lines and the aircraft was scrapped in August, 1993.

All prints are professionally scanned from slides unless noted otherwise,  and printed on high quality FUJIFILM Lustre Finish Photo Paper.  Imperfections, dirt, and dust from original image have been removed where possible, and color and fade correction made as needed.  EBay image is a low resolution scan.  Actual prints are sharper and have better color than eBay scans.  Most prints are borderless, however due to cropping and format variations some may have a small white border.****
