1974 Gillette Cavalcade of Champions Award Presented to Olga Korbut - Gymastics

Description

Artistically pleasing memento from the personal collection of legendary gymnast Olga Korbut, this statue was presented in 1974 by the Gillette company. Measuring at 19.75", this substantial collectible features a statue of a gymnast with "Gillette Cavalcade Of Champions 1974 Award" engraved.  It lacks the original plaque attached to the base which would certainly have identified it for Korbut for her outstanding achievement in gymnastics.
Accompanied by signed Letter of Provenance from Korbut stating that this, along with several other personal awards, came from her personal collection.
Slightly loose base and slight oxidation.
